Is this gear you can see is the bevel gear,if it is the trouble is between that gear and the engine,that gear is before the steering clutches and final drives,if it is slowing up it is more than likely the torque or the reverser,it is most unlikely that both clutches in the reverser would fail at the same time unless there is a common issue like low oil pressure or a shot torque,first establish that there is enough oil in the reverser,check the pressure,make sure any suction strainer and filter the reverser has is clean,inspect them for metal,the reverser works by hydraulic pressure,drive from the torque enters the reverser,you select forward or reverse,the respective clutch receives oil pressure from the control valve,the pressure squeezes the clutch discs together and the output shaft drives through the transmission to the bevel gear through the steering clutches into the final drives and out to the track sprocket,remove the plugs from under the s/clutches and see if there is oil in there,about the reverser lever all big dozers reverser lever was pulled back to the driver for forward and pushed away for reverse,if yours came the other way check none of the cranks on the linkage got turned over,its a pity after the trouble you have gone through that its not right,a pressure test will establish if the charge pump is ok,first check on the oil and filter/strainer,good luck.
